I hate to loose one when he really hits the bait.
Were you down river? Drifting or anchored? Those fish will make a good fish fry. I hope to catch some next month when I am up that way. Only I will be over in the eastern part.

Hoot they were caught drifting and using Standard 4/0 hooks.
We were down river and had the trolling motor where the boat was moving around .07 mph and the current was running around 2.4 mph. Man some of them would try there best to rip it out of your hands.
Hope your going to be there around may the 5th?
That is when we will be fishing over that way.
