Hey there. My heart just sank when I saw the date this was posted. I wonder if you found anything or will ever check here again. I am trying to figure out how to get out of the mess I am in after almost 11 years of marriage to my bdp husband. I have three young children with him (9 years, 6 years and 4 years). Right now he is being super nice and it is scarry how good he is at it. I am in despair. I have no idea how to get out of this - I hope if you do read this you can contact me at my email address - I can't see yours. I also live in Westchester County, NY. Man, I hope I will hear from you. You must be so strong - tell me how you did it? I promise not to be a black whole of neediness though that is exactly how I feel.

I just left a marriage to a bdp husband. Funny thing
>is he is fairing quite well while I feel alone and
>isolated. I lost most of my friendships due to my
>relationship, while he has everyone jumping through
>hoops just to keep him calm.
>I need to find a group that understands the pain I
>suffered for the past 30 years. I feel that I can't
>relate to others because I am still tired from the
>dance and my sense of self has been depleted. I would
>like to meet with others who have survived this
>lifestyle.
