The best way to publicise your book is online; by visiting and joining poetry groups, discussing your work. You could also get your webpage onto search engines, carefully choosing keywords. Another way is to circularise literature and poetry groups by surface mail in your country or advertise in poetry and literature magazines. Very few of these are of the glossy type, so should not be overly expensive. None of these approaches will have instant results, but this rarely happens in publishing anyway.
