Here's how the top ten ladies scored in the ff semifinal competitions:
Interview/Swimwuit/Evening Gown
Miss Chile - 84.20/86.20/86.70 = 85.70
Miss Finland - 83.90/91.40/90.40 = 88.56
Miss Yugoslavia - 92.80/91.80/89.40 = 91.33
Miss Spain - 88.60/86.30/86.40 = 87.1
Miss Greece - 93.70/89.50/90 = 91.06
Miss Peru - 87.80/89/90.80 = 89.2
Miss Kenya - 94.60/87.9/90.70 = 91.06
Miss Colombia - 90/89.80/82 = 87.26
Miss Philippines 85.40/88.4/91.5 = 88.43
Miss Bosnia - 91.90/93.70/94.10 = 93.23
Top 4
Miss Bosnia = 93.23
Miss Yugoslavia = 91.33
Miss Kenya = 91.06
Miss Greece = 91.06
Lowlights :
- Why on earth is Miss Philippines included in the ten semifinalists? There are ten more delegates which I consider better than April.
- I expected too much from ABS-CBN but ended up being disappointed by their mediocre production values. Though better that last year's, it seems that they never had ample time to improve or didn't prepare that much to come up with a world class quality show. The stage design is a 3rd rate copy cat of Miss Universe 2002. The redeeming factors of the show were Pia Guanio , Bianca Araneta and Marc Nelson who did excellent jobs as hosts.
- Fuuck Robbie Carmona and his bad stage direction. His Preview Showstopper Award must be given to someone else.
- Miss Earth must move to another venue next year, the one with proper ventillation and air-conditioning.
- Baaad top ten swimsuits from Avon.
- Plzzzz Carousel Production, enough of those repetitive sponsors videos.
- Miss USA having a catfight with a chubby Caucasian whom I suppose is a supporter of Miss Bosnia.
- All delegates not congratulating Miss Bosnia after she won the title. In a unison, they shouted Kenya, Kenya, Kenya on stage which kinda irritated Miss Bosnia. Though I was also rooting for Miss Kenya, we have to accept that the judges' decision is final and we can't do something about it.
Highlights :
- The best evening gowns I've seen in a local or international pageant in ten years. Standouts in ther evening gowns are the ff : Miss Malaysia, Miss Kenya, Miss Bosnia ( the best i've seen this year, better than Oxana's), Miss Nigeria, Miss Uganda, Miss Dominican Republic, Miss Finland, Miss Nicaragua, Miss Costa Rica, Miss Guatemala.
- What an intelligent top ten. Few buckled up but I enjoyed watching the top ten interviews. Miss Kenya ruled this event.
- The opening video is the other redeeming factor of the mediocre show.
- Yey! They've got a new crown. Those new crowns are lovely!
