Date Posted: 08:23:43 08/02/03 Sat The Tigers have announced they have placed RP John Bale and SP Rolando Arrojo on release waivers, and are looking at possibly doing the same with CF Johnny Damon, CF Bernie Williams, SP Darren Dreifort, and SS Chris Burke after opening day. This means that unless I get a decent offer(dont get me wrong, im not asking for a top 10 pick, or a A+ prospect, just some value) they will be cut, and will go to a team for free, possibly a contender, and potentially changing a divisional race. So if you have interest in any of these guys, or simply want to keep them away from other teams, get ahold of me ASAP. Again, these players will NOT be on my roster past the all star game, where they are after that, is up to you guys. I am looking to help my teams financial situation, and this is an easy way to get it done. By cutting Williams, Burke, Damon, and Dreifort, I will save aproximately 15 million off my cap next season. So this really is my best option. Hope to hear from a few of you soon, and as for the rest of my roster, no one is untouchable. If anyone can handle taking on Derek Jeter's contract, I will negotiate a compensation package for his horrid contract, if anyone is interested.
