Well, so far, I've heard some good trade offers, but I have so far essentially stood pat, waiting out the free agent auction. However, don't think you can just amble up to me and propose a deal after the bidding is over. I'm on the verge of a few deals.

First, I've been offered a deal involving one of my six starters that would give me a very good middle infielder. If I take this deal, and there's a good chance I will, I'm not trading any more pitchers, so if anyone on the Red Bird staff piques your interest, let me know soon.

But I know you're all really waiting to hear about how willing I am to trade Pujols. Right now, the best offer I've heard (that didn't get struck down) is one very good first baseman, one very good pitching prospect, and two first-round draft picks. This doesn't strike me as a particularly bad offer. So if you'd like to try to strike a deal with me, you had better do it soon, because I'm not the type to make 4 or 5 deals at once.
