Perith turns to see Gord hacking at the statue and moves forward to try to stop her, "Come now, Gord, this is not the time for this," as he is talking he once again finds his eyes drawn to Gord's figure despite himself. He shakes his head again and straightens up again, "Besides, the real Giant good be somewhere in this castle right now, laughing at us. Don't waste your time or dull your blade on this statue."

"Now it seems that whatever I saw has already gotten away. I suggest that we explore the rest of this place methodically and stay together and keep our heads. The statue is hideous but there may be more hideous things yet in this place, which we already know is not totally abandoned. Let's just keep out heads together and get to it. I suggest we proceed through these hallways. It might also be a good idea for one of us to start keeping a map."
