Subject: The Statue Room

After the fight with the giant spiders you have a chance to gaze about the room. The dull flickering blue light bounces off of the walls and statutes. You see you are in a massive room it appears to be 200x200 feet and the ceiling is at least 40 ft high. In the center is 2 statues; one of a frost giant bringing down a massive two-headed axe onto the second statue, that of a barbarian. The barbarian statue is laying on the ground reaching futile for a fallen hammer while a fountain of blood pours from his neck and mouth forming a pool of blood about him. Large spider webs frame both. You now see that the tunnel continues east past this room, but you cannot see where it goes. Looking back west from where you came can be seen the lever and the entrance to the spiral stairs going up to the battlements. You now notice that north and south of the statue is also passages and that the flickering light is coming from long braziers on each side of both passages. The braziers appear to be filled with a blue fiery substance.
