Subject: Times War and the starting gate HELP!!!!!

" We arrive at the track once again. Timmy doesnt seem so tense this time. It takes me 10 minutes to unload and tack up. A service man walks by and I ask him to work the gate. He agrees and I bridle Timmy. We head for the gate. When we are 20 ft away, Timmy rears and almost unseats me. I pull him around and we face the gate again. Timmy backs up. This isnt going to work. So I start working him through his paces. I work him until he's good and tired then we aproach the gate again. I act like Im leading him around it to a nice juicy patch of grass. Then when we are almost to the gate and he flips out again. He bolts I pull him into a turn andhe does a little buck thing and I come off. Once I sit up, I start laughing. How could I fall off because of that? I get up and figure that Timmy is half way to Mexico. I turn toward the trailer and there he is standing at the back door ready to go home. I start to walk to him. A stab of pain goes up my leg. I twisted my ankle. I laugh again. I limp to the trailer and prepare to leave. I cant very well ride with a twisted ankle. Does anyone have any ideas on the gate thing???
