Subject: The next day...working on endurance
In reply to: Jennifer 's message, "Limitless Time & Jennifer" on 09:38:25 04/20/02 Sat

The next morning Jenny saddled the colt and mounted. They walked, trotted, and cantered several times around the track. Then she galloped him around a few times, keeping it quiet and controlled. Limit fought for a faster pace, but she kept the reins short. Jenny brought him down to a walk and rode through the gap. Limit was confused. He had barely worked out there! Tossing his head, the spirited colt sidestepped and fidgeted, wanting to run. Jennifer kept her seat and rode with him, calming him eventually. Brandon rode over on Lucky Gamble. "Let's go," he said. He ponied Limit beside him and they went for a trail ride. They trotted for miles over rolling hills. Limit was enjoying the scenery and not complaining as he jogged alongside Gamble.
For the next few weeks, Jenny would work him on the track and then Brandon would pony the colt out on the trails. The colt developed more endurance and muscle. He also learned to behave out on the trail. They decided to breeze him the next day.
