taking fire on the track again

I led fire into the trailer unhooked the lead rope and locked him in.then i got in my jeep and drove to the race track.
When we got there I took him out and tied him to the fence so that i could tack him up.He snorted and pranced so that it was dificult for me groom and tack him up.As I tightned the girth he niped at me looked anoyed and pranced even more .When I began to slip the bridle over his slim head he calmed down b/c he knew that he was going to be able to run soon.
as the gate opened fire burst out of it like a bulet.I could feel his powerful muscles moving under me as he galloped flatout around the track.I gave him another squeze and she and he joyfuly put on an extra burst of speed for the finish.i started to try to bring him back down to canter. he didn't want to slow down and fought me for a minut or two until he came back down to a fast controlled canter.we did some cantering and then we came down to trot,after a while i managed to bring him back down to a walk and then to a halt.
I dismounted and praised him then led him off the track.After I untacked him i hosed him down and toweled him off.then led him back into the trailer locked the door.As i drove back to the farm I thought about what a promising race horse fire was.
