Subject: Riding Rebel!

Lauren smiled as she tacked up Rebel, one of her new racehorses. He was a gorgeous black thoroughbred. Lauren tightened the girth and tried to bridle him. He tossed his head and snorted. When he let it down, Lauren slipped her hand and the bit into his mouth, pressing down on the bars of his mouth. After she has finally managed to bridle him, she closed the stall door, put her helmet on, and went out to the track. Lauren saw Jenny cooling down Limitless Time. "Hey! I thought I would try him out on the track today. I finally have time to ride him!" Lauren said. "Have a good ride! I just finished with this guy," Jennifer said.
Lauren went out to the track and walked around, getting Rebel used to his new surroundings. After about five minutes, Rebel was all fired up and wanted to run. Lauren found a point to start and heeled Rebel on. He surged on, pounding his hooves on the track. Lauren got up and went into her jockey position. She hadn't been on the track for a while, so her back ached. After they had done 6 furlongs, Lauren stood up and brought Rebel down again. It was a short ride, but Rebel was already Frothy with sweat and Lauren had several other horses to ride. She went went off the track and dismounted. She led Rebel up and the driveway several times to cool him off. She untacked him, and gave him his hay and mid-day water supply. She put a carrot in his feed bucket (along with his high energy grain) and latched the stall.
