People are saying Brees is amazing this year.

His numbers aren't much better than Favre's. The thing is, New Orleans has a great chance if they keep home field advantage, because if they had to play in New York in January, they'd be more beatable. So winning home field is huge for them.

But Brees went two games in a row with no TDs. His stats are inflated from a couple unbelievable games. It's not like he is amazing EVERY game. They are beatable. Giants showed you can beat an "unstoppable" team no matter what they look like. All it takes is one week. Vikings in 98 were unstoppable. One of the worst days of my life was that loss to Atlanta in the fucking dome.

I honestly think the Vikings could beat them. But again, it's early. All it takes if Favre to go down...and Vikes are fucked. Brees gets hurt...New Orleans is fucked. And I still think New Orleans defense isn't as great as some guys are trying to say they are. They'll get burned...especially Sharper. He's made a couple great plays this year because they allow him to play the way he wants...which usually means he'll eventually get torched when the game is on the line.
