Your description of the books is endlessly amusing. I thank you for that, and for warning me so I will not read them. >_< I want to read all the books in the canon, but by the sound of it, these don't even remotely fit into the canon at all. Ugh.

But believe it or not, it DOES give me hope. Presumably if crap like this can get published, I can certainly write a Star Wars book, can't I? I have a sort of dream of doing that someday. The problem is, I'm not sure how you go about doing so. Friends of mine have speculated that you have to be a published and respected author already, and from what I've read, many of the Star Wars books authors got into a circle of friends and were later invited to write one. Not overly encouraging.

*Sigh* All I want is to write a well-thought-out book that fits into canon while preserving the original style of the movies, is that so much to ask? ;_; (Note: I refuse to read Star Wars fanfiction.)
