There is no crying in hockey, yes... and no one is mentioning HOCKEY, they're mentioning the anthem itself. I understand that people are talking during the anthem in the arena, but we're Slapshots, we represent our team, our school, and our country. We need to be the ones setting a good example during our anthem. It's awesome to make fun of the other team during the game, but the anthem is a long standing tradition. Disrespecting our anthem is wrong, with everything that's happening to our country now, War, terrorism, the economy, giving our country the five minutes it deserves shouldn't be that hard, and I don't see why our leader, who should be guiding us, seems to give Canada those five minutes, and not us. No disrespect to Canada, because they rule too, but equal representation. I don't think I will continue in Slapshots next year, this is just way too much drama, taking away from the real game.
