The Outskirts
...the Hoxr River cuts low through the foothills to reach this rolling plain on the west, and the Alley turns into an underground tunnel leading out the east. Hills rise and fall slowly, like breathing, along this oblivion, yet tracks of boots and hooves trek along if you go out far enough. Human villages dot this expanse, a threat if you are seen to them. Tread with caution.
