$2,000 To Win Cruiser World Championship Thanksgiving Weekend!

Columbus Mississippi-The 2nd Annual Cruiser World Championship will be held on November 29th and 30th at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. The event is part of the 2nd Annual Lawson Construction Possum Town Grand Prix taking place on Thanksgiving weekend featuring the $2,000 to win Cruiser World Championship on November 29th and 30th. The inaugural PTGP event in 2001 saw a large contingent of drivers on hand as 197 racecars entered in all classes the event that saw Lincoln, Alabama's James and Jimmy McAvoy top a field of 56 raucous 2-Person Cruiser race teams to earn the inaugural Cruiser World Championship title.

Also scheduled on the holiday weekend event is the $2,000 to win season finale' for the Goddard Performance Mississippi Modified State Championship Series, a $5,000 to win Super Late Model Championship event, plus $800 to win Fall Championships for the Pro Street, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. The Pro 4 division will also have their Fall Championship event as well. Qualifying will be held on Friday evening November 29th with B-Mains and Main events on Saturday evening November 30th. Racetime is set for 5:30pm in the evening each day.
