Darkmoon padded toward the Lone Rose. she sat down and looked at it curiously. *i wonder if i'll ever see her..* she licked the rose solemnly and padded toward a dark forbidding cliff. she howls and listens for an answer. she hears one, but very close. she jumps up and looks around wildely, and her cold eyes settle on a dark, almost transparent, figure
"Mum?" whispers Darkmoon excitedly, "Is that...is that you?"
The wolf turns to her with a grin, It's her!! It is her mother, Blue-Flame. Darkmoon ran toward her and was about to leap on her in joy, but she just fell through her. "mum?" she said nervously,"whats wrong with you?" Blue-Flame continued grinning "I'm dead, remember, silly?" she walked toward her rebellious daughter,"You caused my death"
Darkmoon opened her eyes widely "No mother! not on purpose! i have....had, too much pride in me, i'm sorry!" but her mother was frowning now "I'd still be alive if i had killed you that night, but, o! silly me, how selfish of me! i was sent here by Desert Rose to tell you something!" Darkmoon sensed she wasn't really mad at her, just a little pissed off. "Yes?" she replied
"Desert Rose says to find your mate, retrace your steps and socialize more"
"Reatrace my steps?"
"You're a smart pup, figure it out" blue-flame vanidhed with one last wink.
Darkmoon ran to the lone rose...but it had disappeared...so she turned back to the way she came, towards New Life Den
