An early morning breakfast and a coffee starts the day before Ryan Bracken Lodge and crunches on the gravel round the back of the house to the yard. Making straight for Spider and Amazon he checks on them. Practiced eyes runs over their bodies, telling him all was well. The feed room in the building opposite the barn contains the horses pre- prepared breakfasts, which Ryan retrieves and gives to the horses, to which they reply with satified grunts. When finished he removes their stable blankets, replacing them with new zealand rugs. Headcoller and leadrope are also added, then horses were led to the field. On the way back he passes the store room, ajacent to the feed room. here a wheel barrow and shavings fork are retrieved. The beds are cleaned thoroughly, much deposited on the muck heap. Water and hay is topped up by Ryan before he goes to check on the rest of the yard. Whistling cheerily he goes about his business.
