She rose later than Ryan, pulled on some jodhpers and a sweatshirt and her old nike trainer she went down stairs. Not facing breakfast she goes straight out to the yard. Superlative recocnised her, which pleased her, as she'd not yet owned him a week. Fiona removes his rug, pats his neck and goes to get his tack. She would ride him first, feed him when she got back, turn out and then muck out. By then it would be about lunch time. She'd have her lunch in the cafe today, she thought. She opens her horses mouth, inseting the snaffle bit and pulling the bridle over his ears. Next came the leather saddle, which she places gently on his back. She adds his jumping boots, plonks on her riding cap and leads the chestnut out into the yard to mount at the mounting block.
