"Yeah, sure, thanks, just leave those boxes by the stable and i'll get my tack from the horsebox later, why don't you show me around" she smiled, she was grateful that Ryan was helping her out so much but things were different. She remembered the time when they went riding on the beach and watched the sun set, she wondered if anything like that would happen again. Kayleigh hoped he remembered it too. "Hey, Ryan are there any beaches round here?" she asked with a cheeky grin, hinting about the memories in her head.
As they walked along Kayleigh started thinking and she decided to come right out with the truth. She stopped and touched Ryan's arm, signalling for him to face her. She avoided eye contact and kind of looked down.
"Ryan...i know things have changed and we haven't seen each other in a while but...do you think there's still a chance between us? You know like, what we used to have?" she looked up, into his eyes, the wind gently blowing her soft blonde hair infront of her shoulders. His eyes were exactly as she had remembered, deep denim blue, one of his best features, she thought.
