Hello Carolyn,

I must say that moving can be a difficult task but to have the worries about finding doctors that can help you and understand your condition is just an added stress.

Unfortunately I am not in Winnipeg right now, I am away on an extended vacation but will do my best to help you. I do not have access to my physicians list but I am going to direct you to Jill Douglas-Hand the President and Founder of CEDA. She is a wonderful woman and will be more than willing and able to help you as she has a copy of the Manitoba Physician List as well as a lot of other contacts and information. You can email her at office@ceda.ca

I must warn you that right now Manitoba is in a serious shortage of General Practitioners and you may have some difficulty finding one right away. Please do not be discouraged by this as I am sure you will be able to get a regular GP within a reasonable amount of time, if you do run into medical problems you can visit any of the emergency departments.

I will continue to check the Bulletin Board to see how your progress is going. Good Luck and have a safe trip to Winnipeg.
