Subject: Finds Yu

Finally Dark's search came to an end as he found Yu in a guard room sitting at a table drinking rum. He seemed very happy with himself as he laughed with the guards around him. No one saw Dark coming down the passage way. Dark stood there in the doorway for a moment, and no seemed to notice him. Yu and his men were sharing their latest jokes. It appeared that these soldiers were stationed down at the docks where the air ships docked. The joked about till one of the men noticed Dark leaning against the door post.
"Sir!" he said jumping as all the other men turned to see who it was. The other men around the table expect for General Yu also followed the other one's example.
"I need to talk to you, Yu," Dark said staring at the other men in the room. He made it clear that it was none of their concern and that they best leave now before he yelled at them. As they left Dark studied each of their faces, that way he could tell their leading commander what they had been doing while they were suppose to be on duty. Once they had left and Yu had stored the rum away Dark finally spoke.
"You're getting lazy Yu," he said coldly. Yu glanced at Dark. He had never liked Dark, because it seemed to Yu he had stolen his job. He used to be head of all the guard when King Thistle was alive, and for strange reason Yu believed that the new king and Dark had something to do with the old king's death. Yu wasn't blind and he noticed how Thorn acted around his father.
"And what concern is that to you?" Yu replied just as coldly as Dark had.
"That you have a job to do," Dark stopped but Yu wanted more than that. "That and you're taking guards from thier post and drinking rum with them. Aren't you on duty? You're suppose to be having a meeting with Commander Liten, but you called it off. Was it to drink rum with some privates?"
"What does it matter Dark? Does my meetings and affairs have anything to do with you? Why are you sticking your nose into my business anyways?"
"The king wished me to see you. He's not happy with you."
"He's never been happy with me, or least to my concern."
"You believe that?" Dark asked not surprised at all to hear Yu's opinion on the matter. It was true, Thorn didn't like Yu at all.
"Yes I do," Yu informed the Royal Guard. "I'm too bent on the old ways when King Thistle ruled." A silenced fell between the two. "You didn't come all the way down here to ask me what I thought of the king. I have a right to my own opinion. Plus you said his majesty sent you." Dark halfway nodded.
"What I meant by you getting lazy is this: You're suppose to be searching for the prince and I haven't seen much improvement."
"I'm working on it," Yu hissed at Dark. "Don't worry we're tracking down the ship."
"You're not working on it fast enought," Dark barked back at Yu.
"Why are you so concerned about it anyway? I told you I would find him."
"Because General, I'm the Head of the Royal Guard; therefore, it's my job to make sure the Royal Family is safe. Prince Briar isn't safe as far as my concern goes. Since it is your job to find I can only blame you as responsible in hopes that you will find him soon. That is one thing the king isn't happy with you about. You're skills are lacking. The king won't tolerate your laziness for much longer." Silence once again fell in the room.
