Subject: In the Forest

As Ravea entered the dark, misty forest, she noticed that there was one, only one, flower to be seen. She walked over to the flower, looked at it's bright petals and thought, I didn't think there was anymore color left in this place, though i guess i was wrong. She sighed and picked the flower. She glanced again at the bright petals and green stem. Then, quickly as she had found it, it vanished. A figment of her imagination. She sighed again. I can remember when this place was full of color, this forest full of flowers. Now, I can't stand it. I'm disquested. O well, I better get used to it. Not going anywhere anytime soon. She thought again about the flower and how she could remember the colors so well. She looked up. She could see the castle's stone walls. She walked out of the forest and onto the beach's shore. At least the water is.... blue.... blue? Water. I remember swimming in the summer with my family when I was a child. Now my family is dead. And now, I must live with... Her voice trailed as she turned and looked up at the castle. She could see the new King standing in the window, staring out at the sea. She stopped her words. She sighed once more before sitting down on the sand. She sat there, watching the waves roll on and off the shoreline.
