As you know, the Catholic church has been embarrassed many times by the actions of its priests and has hidden this from the parishes by sending these bad priests to other parishes to keep repeating the same sins. To me, the worse possible sin is for a man of the cloth to betray his vows of piety and succumb to his weaknesses. When God calls us to be the keepers of the faith, we make a conscious decision to live life above and beyond the sin nature and set an example. How horrible of them to betray the very people they're sworn to protect and bring to God!
I'm sorry you've had 4 or the last 6 pastors let you down, Hillbilly. It makes it hard for a congregation to move on to a new pastor and have that same trust. God bless.
