I just counseled a friend last week who said God wasn't listening to her prayers and her life was miserable and she didn't feel he cared. I told her he is always with us and he cares. He answers our prayers as per HIS will, not ours, but that we don't always know when our prayers are being answered. Sometimes they are answered in different ways. I hope I helped her.

God answers according to His will and what is best for that person. First a person praying must be in fellowship with the Lord. Some prayers require time and then there are the times the Lord just says no.

The mark of a strong Christian is accepting God's will in these matters and claiming Romans 8:28.

She is a good Christian lady who always got much from her faith, but she had so many things happening to her, she felt abandoned by God. I hope my words helped draw her back to him and set her back on course. Please pray for her. Her name is Theresa.

Try and get her to read the Book of Job.
If she will read it and seek God's guidance as she reads it should help her immensely.

The Book not only shows the interaction of God and Satan in the lives of believers but it shows how to triumph by perseverance.

If she wil remain stedfast the Lord will deliver her.

I will remember her when I pray.
