hello atari-heads
i am a newcomer to atari world. i have just found an old atari 1040 STE in a skip and am trying to get it working. i have plugged it into my telly and the screen comes up okay but the cursor won't move - the arrow keys don't move it and none of the mouses i've tried in it do either. The computer makes beeping noises when i push the keys so somethings happening, but i'm sure that the mice do work on other computers. Can anybody suggest what i need to do? Do atari 1040 STE's need a special mouse?
thanking you
