It was never ' busy ' lots of room... never crowded. There is though limited shade, I would suggest a sun umbrella shade. There are some trees but really not much shade from them. The beach is quite long, the naturel part is away from where the boats land.. that is if they are running. That said if you approach from the Naoussa road end.. and round the headland past the church, there is a small cove( clothed usually) then a 100m stretch naturel and then the long beach naturel... I would say for Sept there would be no more than 20- 30 people there, possibly even less. Do remember sometimes greek familes use it and the new houses above so perhaps not always 100% naturel but very close. When I have been really 99% naturel... Do take water and eats as it is remote. It can we walked from Naoussa along the road, take care but little traffic, with a hire car very very limited parking, up the lane to the beach... hope this helps.
