Date Posted: Tue, June 28 2016, 13:14:08 In reply to: Roger Matthews 's message, "Re: Naxos News" on Sun, June 26 2016, 22:12:43 We drove the length of Plaka beach yesterday hoping to find beach beds and umbrellas for hire but there were none available for nudists that we could see, unless someone else can say different. There was a stretch where half a dozen nudists were but with no facilities. So we drove on to Mikri Viagli where we had a fabulous lunch but no evidence of beds for nudists use! Eventually found a well used nudist beach at Alyko. This beach is the most northerly on the peninsula but again, no beds or umbrellas for hire. So we have purchased a couple of beach chairs from a supermarket along with an umbrella and we will be setting off to see what we can find. A shopkeeper told us that there is a nude beach near the church on the beach at Aghia Anna, so I will post again later... To balance this news we both want to say that staying in the Chora is wonderful and that there is plethora of fantastic places to eat! Happy days indeed!
