Date Posted: Tue, July 02 2024, 16:39:12 I have recently been to Arryllas, Corfu.Previously naturism was tolerated at the North part of beach ( just south of headland that separates Arryllas from Agios Stepanos). That beach has been virtually obliltorated by coastal changes. Naturist were the tolerated at the south beach ( at Afionas end). However, official "nudisim prohibited" signs have been errected together with a sign explaining Greece's laws on naturism. The resort's main beech has also been dwindling and the local authority and trade association has errected the signs. Many naturists have disobeyed the signs and local officials have been visiting and have issued warnings. The next step, apparently, is to involve the police. The resorts has an increasing number of "hippy type" holiday glamping sites and these new visitors are significantly increasing the number of naturists. They are, apparently, giving the older, more discreet naturists a bad name.If you do visit, please make sure you obey the signs or go to Agios Stephanos , were beach is more suitable.
