There are evidently problems with Wikidot which give rise to problems signing in, security alerts and so on. It did not ussed to be like that when the site was first set up. There are updates, the latest even today. I do not understand why you can't see the edit link.

You are right there are few posts on this forum. I think this may partly be because it has to be moderated, which means there's a delay to posts appearing. Unfortunately, if I release the moderation we get posts offering pornography and suchlike and I have to restore it.

I hear from other sources that the main page is still considered a useful resource, even if in places it is out of date. In the past I have asked whether there was any interest from somebody else in taking over the site and haven't had a realistic proposal.
