Subject: call me swammie

ok, so i took and survived my first yoga class - and it was great!! i had a good time and did a lot better than i expected to. and i was only moderately sore the next day. i did however, discover the following about myself:

i could actually do the backward dog thing without falling on my head.

i could do some moves a lot more easily if my stomach wasn't so big

one side of my body is actually tighter than the other - does this mean i'm lopsided??

so now i can't wait til friday when i do it again! the only thing is that this past teacher was a sub, who did a more "traditional" session, or as he called it "medieval". the regular teacher i guess is more spacey, she plays humpback whale sounds in the class!
