That's the point, there haven't been any general PTA meetings for about 2 years. The last meeting was supposedly last year about the $5000 school sign, but there was never any flyer or notice about it. Ever. Is that proper?

We will contact the school and find out where the minutes of the meetings are. Even if we don't have general meetings, there should be Board Member meeting minutes and all PTA members are supposed to have access to them at any time.

Being a PTA Board Member is an enormous responsibility and no one is discounting the importance of holding a position. But, PTA Board Members don't get more of a vote because they are on the Board -- they get one vote, the same as any PTA member. This is not to upset the PTA, but to find out answers for all parents. Where is your fundraising money going, with specific dollar amounts? It's your right to know and your right to vote.
