Usually a Java Applet comes with 3 files. One is the .class which is hosted at a web site. and you do a ref to it in your applet.

The second file is the sample. (sometimes this one is deleted.)

and the third is the instructions on how to set the Params. Sometimes "found" Java does not work. I have been playing with a fire ap (like my water applet) and it just won't work right. I'll ask someone who knows.. mention the name of the applet here and someone might know if that worked for them before.
