Why can't i use normal goggle and at the same time breathe with the snorkel? I guess the goggle/mask is seperate from the snorkel.

Seems I have three choices
1. Wear normal goggle that have short-sighted lense
2. Wear contact and normal mask
3. Wear powered mask that have short-sighted lense

Masks provide better view than goggle£¬ am i right?

Yes, you are right. There are only three choices for most of us.

The other options: the Orang Laut (Sea people) actually dive with no mask and snorkel and was able to demostrate to us the ability to see and pick things from the sea bed. Not for us folks though :)

Mask would be the best option. The exception happens when there is mismatch between face and mask, then water will seep in. This is where googles, personal ones esp., will be the better choice the mask.

Otherwise, go with the mask and follow guidelines (from the numerous websites) on selecting the proper mask with or without lenses. It give a whole new view underwater :)
