Wow! That's a good price. Didn't manage to visit Sitex... too busy lauching my website on www.redang.org.

Didn't realize Panasonic had u/w housing. Do you know for which model of their digital camera? And do you know whether it's a 3rd party u/w housing or Panasonic-branded? I know Minolta also has an u/w housing for their small Dimage cameras but only rated to 30m. The newer casings from Canon & Sony are all now 40m.

Hi Alex
First, I must congratulate you for the the re-launch of your new site. Have been following your site for years and I must say the content is really amazing and the efforts you put in highly commendable. Do keep up the good work in sharing the beauty of Redang to more nature lovers.

Re the Panasonic DMC-F1 digital camera, I managed to grap a piece during the fair and the deal is fantastic. The UW casing is built by Sea&Sea, up to 40m! Free gifts include mini tripod, padded waterproof safety case, 2x32M & 1x64M SD cards, cleaning kit etc. And the lens is made by German camera manufacturer LEICA!! All for $599!

Can't wait to visit Redang again to try out the new camera. Let me know shd you decide to go up before the official season starts on 1 Mar 04. Maybe I can join you for the trip. Cheers.
