Read the tragic news in the papers today. Although it's rare for victims to die from jellyfish stings in this part of the world (most fatalities occur in Australia), it's a good reminder that such incidents can happen even close to our shores and that we should take preventive measures where possible:

- pay attention to warning signs at beaches/resorts
- wear clothing to prevent stings (cheaper than using SafeSea all over your body)
- look where you are going

On the last point, remember that jellyfish do not 'attack' humans, we get stung when we accidentally bump into them. And don't just look on the surface since jellyfish are able to move up and down and can sometimes be submerged a few feet under water.

Thanks for the tip, I don't think the 110 millilitre bottle of SeaSafe gonna protect 3 of us for 4 days.
