Hi MSC,

We arrived at Tanjong Dalam Besar which is the stretch of beach next to (on the right side of Berjaya facing sea, i.e. north) Berjaya beach (Tanjong Dalam Kechil) at 6 P.M. We emerged from the jungle and from here I could barely make out the floating pontoon-jetty belonging to Berjaya.

At the back of the beach, we walked to a road that climbs up a hill that meets the entrace of Berjaya. I did not hear any construction going on. Bear in mind, the other reports were much earlier on. Our date and time at Berjaya was on August 26th, 6 to 7 P.M. As it turns out it was a Thursday and Thursday is weekend for Kulau Terrenganu. So I can't really tell if the construction is finished or it is the end of the day and the works have stopped, or it could just be the weekend for them and there is no works. Definitely quite, I have to confess I don't recall seeing any construction, may be a road leading to the new site.

This much I can say, if I was to stay at Berjaya, I most definitely will try to get a room closest to the beach and pool - barely recall seeing a construction road that still exists between Aima Grill Fish and guard room.

I took a digi shot of the property map and I *think* I see room 5604 which is a corner unit diagonally facing the pool and beach (cornering pointing north-east). May be you could request for this unit or one of the other 3 units in this chalet, there is also another 4 unit chalet right infront of this chalet, can't make out the room number though. There is no construction visible to us when we were on the right end of the Berjaya beach (nearer the pontoon-jetty).

Our boat ride came at 7:10 P.M., so from 6 o'clock till then, we heard nothing but surf, locals playing soccer on the beach, folks in the pool and families with children on the beach. It was a peaceful visit for us. Remeber though, this is late evening AND it was a Thursday (like our Saturday or Sunday).
