Subject: Boat/Ferry to Redang

I'm going to Berjaya Readang in June. I couldn't find info regarding boat fares to Redang. I called the resort and they told me fares for adults are RM80.00 return. Is this correct? Seems a bit high.

Another thing, is it true that ferries to the island only make morning trips? No afternoon ferry to Redang? I'm a bit worried coz we're flying in and may only reach the jetty near afternoon.

The ferries charges are typical. The timing to go to the island is also schedule in the morning to coincide with the arrival of the express bus. If you are flying in, there are also ferry that will bring u to the island in the afternoon.
