In reply to: pat 's message, "plane parking" on 16:47:22 05/15/02 Wed

I have never gotten more plane parking but I have had a lot more aircraft.
Once I get the ILA or US killed down enough, or I get in a secure enough place around my base this is what I do.
I take my original air strip and max it out with planes. Then I send all the planes on a mission to scout an area in a safe place. When all planes are off the air strip I destroy the air strip (pressing K) and rebuild another airstrip and it will allow you to build a few more planes. I have done this and had up to 4 extra ATG planes to play with.

To get the planes to land click on the planes and have them "base" at the new air strip. Once all parking is taken up no more planes can land, remaining planes will circle the air strip.

How do you make some unit 'base' at a certain point?
