Ginger grips the colt tighter as he scratches her arms with his small hooves. She swings her legs over to one side and slides down from the saddle. She checks that the lasso around the colt's neck is firm and frees the colt's legs. She puts him down and ,keeping a firm grip on his lasso, she leads him and Bella to her stable.
Once in the stable and the door shut firmly, Ginger checks if there are any holes or small places the colt could escape. Seeing none she bends down and loosens the knot around the colt's neck but keeps it on. She ties the lasso onto a small ring in the wall and untacks Bella, though keeping a close eye on the colt.
