I believe that you are talking about SD and I judged that pageant. Both girls did a great job, and it was extremely close. There were three judges and that was the way the scores came out. If you have questions you would like to ask me I will be happy to talk to you privately through email. Why do you not concentrate on promoting YOUR event rather than bashing theirs? Give it a rest. SEVERAL pageants had quite large numbers. Luane always packs them in and I know for sure she had well over 30. AAF had well over 30 "pre-registered" and all the pageants had door entries - some even got 10-15 door entries! Don't give her the satisfaction of even bothering to answer. If she wasnt' there it's not any of her business which pageants had how many contestants. She is just trying to figure out how much she has to add to her contestant numbers after YOU KNOW WHAT to try to look like she had more people. It seems like the people bashing the Expo were not doing it because they just "didn't like" it. If you don't like a pageant you just don't go to it. You don't bash the pageant & the director & make up horrible stories about her and make up lies about her event before & after it happens. There has got to be more to this that just not liking the Expo. If you don't like Tom Thumb you shop at Krogers - but you don't set Tom Thumb on fire. What pageants crowned in there boths last year? MC crowned during the next pageants tablutaion. There were photo contest crowned in the booths last year, but no pageants that I remember. Please tell me which ones crowned in there booths. I am not bashing you I just want a list so it can be verified. Okay, can we put this to rest? At the 2001 Expo, one pageant crowned during the next pageant's auditing period. No pageant system that competed on the stage at either the 2001 or 2002 Expo crowned anywhere EXCEPT onstage. No actual pageants crowned at their booths. SEVERAL systems had photo and/or portfolio contests at their booths, and of course, they awarded their prizes, including crowns, at the booths. So POSSIBLY there is the mix-up and why that particular rumor keeps surfacing. Bottom line, if you hold a pageant at the Expo, you crown onstage.
