{furred ears briefly flatten to his head in an equine-like display of displeasure. accusations and threats never sat well with him, for various reasons. his voice had been, and was even and calm dispite words that may have prompted a very bristling temper had he taken true offense. yet he had plenty of other affairs on his mind, and picking a quarrel with an elemental mage was far from them. gradually returning his cat-ears to their proper at-ease position, he spoke again}
"A truce, then?"
{he remarked, taking a step forward, soft boots eerily silent upon the cold stone of the floor. a slightly furred hand was extended, a few scars criss-crossing his palm. the other hand bore identical marks, yet none were very deep. his eyes, appearing bright green in the dimly lit chamber, accenting the jagged scar crossing his right eye almost menacingly, portrayed nothing. his voice and words, the soft hiss though they were, were still calm and easy. there was little need for him to fret. so he waited, hand outstretched, prompting a handshake to settle the matter}
