Contractually you are allowed 20 minutes for your personal break. Never feel intimidated or worry about taking a personal. If you can't make it to the swing room on 116th or on 110th, there are facilities elsewhere along the route. Ask your union representitive for a list of facilities. If they cannot obtain such a list, call NYCTA Customer Relations in Brooklyn at 1 (888) 692-8287. You may take your personal anywhere along your route, regardless of passengers on board. Inform console that you're taking a personal, and if necessary, place the people on your followers bus. If you must take the bus out-of-service, issue continuation transfers to the passengers and notify console. Do not put your body at risk.
