Urban Bias: Bias that developing countries face. Such as Urban bias in the policy environment. Many developing countries have focused resources on the urban and industrial sectors, such as Chile. Over-valued exchange rates, industrial protection, taxing agricultural exports, and low urban food price policies have favored urban areas ... failing to recognize that rural productivity and growth is the primary engine of long-term development. Urban bias has been pervasive in many countries in latin america. Reversing urban bias: decentralization counteracts urban bias.
