Subject: "I don't think my father wants to admit it but I think he is quite excited as well - He keeps talking about polished oak furniture and the like.." The grandparents were adamant about building the nursery - though Charlie didn't want to accept too much help from them, he knew that it would mean a lot if they were able to help him out in that way so he had conceded to let them do it if they insisted, which they certainly did.

  • Her own parents were no where near as rich as his- but they were comfortable- and they insisted on helping out too- and had offered to buy the babies cradle and stroller. Aly and Charlie were by no means struggling- but Aly wasn't working - and no couldn't- so they were just living off Charlies income, so the help was definately appreciated. "we're lucky to have parents so interested in us and our baby... " She grinned a little, cocking her pretty face to him, her fingers linking into his. Things were looking so much brighter now... now she was back home, out of the hospital, and actually excited about polished oak and baby grows and nursary wall paper. "I'm gonna start clearing out the spare room tomorrow... my moms coming over to help... nothing incriminating in there is there??" (NT) -- Aly, 11:12:51 07/10/06 Mon
