In response to “The Real Mike Starr Speaks Out”, I am in total agreement with the fact that someone like eddievedder29girl@yahoo.com needs to move on. You hit the nail on the head; Mike Starr is a real person with flaws but sometimes someone with a “larger than life” persona can get typecast. When such a person doesn't fill the expections of another, that other person can turn bitter. This appears to be the cause of her vendetta.

I believe that Mike Starr was and always will be a man of incredible talent; his bass playing not only contributed to the chilling, haunting music of AIC but also left an indelible mark on the music of the time. He is underrated as a bass player both musically and rhythmically.

As far as Mike Starr as a person, I have never had the pleasure of meeting him but I believe that he is an intelligent, sensitive, and gifted human being. Just listen to the way he counteracts Jerry Cantrell’s guitar and balances out with Sean . That is no accident. One needs exceptional talent to make it look easy. Mike Starr plays it to the bone.
