Subject: La Traviata

I had never seen a full opera before. I usually just see bits of it when I am flipping through the channels in my television. Before seeing it, I was afraid that I was going to fall asleep, however, while watching it I knew there was no way I was going to lose my interest. My favorite thing of the whole opera was the decorations and settings of the stage. I think they were absolutely beautiful, and at times, I felt like I was really part of it. For example, in the second act when they are in the little living room, the light coming in through the window looked like sunlight for real. I am glad that we saw it, and now I hope all the other operas are this good.
