His arms wrapped tightly around her then and he nestled down into the bed with a deep but quite content sigh, his eyes lightly closed for a moment. "I love you too babe." One hand brushed slowly up and down her back as he shifted onto his back and tugged her close to him again, just enjoying the quiet time with his girl - it seemed like they were so busy these days and so exhausted by the time they got to bed that they never had the energy just to stay awake to cuddle or chit-chat carelessly.
