She returned the kiss for a long moment, a soft sigh of pleasure escaping her lips when the kiss finally broke and she could run her lips down the strong, smooth line of his jaw all the way down his neck. "That sounds nice...we should go..." She paused as she nipped at his neck. "...Italian..maybe Macaroni grill?" She murmured, her voice soft and quiet in the dim room, lit up only by the light streaming in from the window - they had left the porch light on. She thought it would be a good idea for them to get out for awhile, to have some time to themselves. He echoed her sigh of contentment as the kiss broke and then tipped his head back a little at her wandering lips, his jaw clenching for just a moment as he drew her closer to him. "Italian sounds good... It's been a while." Sometimes, at quiet moments like this when she was feeling okay and doctor's offices were a million miles from his thoughts, it was hard to believe that she was actually so sick with a potentially devastating future. "No appointments? Perfect... Yeah, we should definitely just spend the day hanging out." His fingers on her hip curled around to the small of her back to hold her close, his head dipping a little so he could kiss her forehead.
